Automo.to being true car enthusiast we were invited to a local car show that was being held by Island Spice restaurant. It was a open invite to imports, domestics, donks, trucks, bikes, you name it. Granted it isn’t a scene for most and there were some pretty far out there vehicles, but after talking to the owner you can respect the time and hard work they put into their cars for that part of the scene they’re in. Enjoy the pictures everyone!

We all love old school cars, they paved the way for everything we know and love today. Some people have such a passion for these cars they pursue them when they can afford the car they have always wanted. Gadiel Cruz has always wanted a BMW 325E. When he finally got the chance to purchase one he jumped on it. This brings us back to the future and leaves us looking at this 1985 BMW. Cruz wanted a car that he could modify and also pass along to his son, sort of making a BMW legacy for his family. Now even though I’m writing this Gadiel was cool enough to take the pictures for Automo.to and also jump on board the staff at the same time. Cruz has some big plans for this car, we are looking forward to them here at Automo.to!
- Owner: Gadiel Cruz

Back again with Part 2 of The Great American Road Trip

Part 3: The Deep South
At the Florida-Georgia state line, there’s a rest area. We stop to take, well, a quick rest. At this point, we decide to make a driver change. It’s my first time behind the wheel on this great venture. To be honest, I’m quite excited. Seth’s car isn’t just another factory-equipped GTI. With a Revo ECU tune

I’ve always been a fan of cars that stand out from everything else. Beyond that, I like cars that do it without screaming ‘look at me!’ What could do a better job at this than a subtle 2004 Mazda RX8 that squeezes 330 rear wheel horsepower from its supercharged 1.3 liter Renesis engine? Not much!

The SCCA has been around for many years now. Since 1944 to be precise and with 114 regions throughout the U.S. there’s no reason to not be involved with any of their events from club racing, to rally, to probably the most fun, Autocross. Nick Bernardo can assure you of this as he attends almost every event held in the Central Florida Region, and has been for the past 3 years. Tearing up the course in his beautiful race-prepped 2006 Acura RSX Type-S, Nick has a tendency of taking home first place at almost every event. Nick is actually the person who got me into Autocross racing, and I enjoy every minute of it now, although I’ll probably never be able to match his times on the course. So I’ve been meaning to shoot this car and give Nick a well deserved Feature for some time now, and well, the time has come.

Ok so mark down this date, Simply Clean 2. Automo.to is happy to be one of the supporters of this show. Expect it to be bigger and better than the first show. It will be held at the Route 46 Entertainment district in Sanford Florida.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m an import junkie, but for my first Automoto shoot, I wanted something different. A few months ago I became friends with a local Mustang owner after a poker run that we both abused some tires on. We stumbled upon each other on Facebook after the event and have been chatting ever since. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve always respected Mustangs, but they’ve never been my flavor of choice…until I took a better look at Craig Seay’s 2008 427R Roush Mustang. Something about it stood out, and I decided I wanted a look through my lens. It was even better up close.
Craig and I met up after work to shoot, and instantly, the sound from the Roush just made me smile! Supercharged V8 engines have a whirling growl that you just don’t get from Japanese cars, and combined with the Roush exhaust – ear candy! I had to look over the car first. It was obviously loved. Every inch of the car was spotless, and he was as proud to show it off as I was to be photographing it. Lightly modified (beyond Roush’s obvious upgrades), sporting colorful carbon fiber accents, polished under-hood goodies, subtle decals and Jack Roush signatures on the dash and special tool kit in the trunk. It was a pleasure to shoot Craig’s baby: his military service retirement present to himself.

The Great American Road Trip. One of those seemingly mythical journeys that leads to epic stories, life-changing revelations, and plenty of hilarious antics. This probably wasn’t one of those journeys, but it was still pretty damn fun. Many local people in the car scene know Seth Hardy. As the man-in-charge at Central Florida Euro, as well as the proprietor of CoolStickersBro.com, he has made the rounds at car shows and events all around the area. So when he was enlisting some help with his move back to his hometown in Massachusetts, I knew there was not only a decent article to be had, but also a fun adventure. +Continue Reading

So many times I look for a clean VW or Audi, hell recently I look to Scions and BMW’s for some stance love. Well seeing this red car made me break my neck and to be honest I still have a strain. Matt Griffin owns this 2005 SRT 4 and right from the get this is not your typical set up on this skittle. Matt sports a low ride, wide wheels, and proper offset. Inspired by his love for the euro scene Matt has been about pushing the envelope and getting reactions whether good or bad. “Ive always tried to keep it separate from all the other SRT’s on the forums,” Matt explain and by the looks of it he has done a good job. Taking pride and doing all his own work Matt has street tuned this Viper in a diaper to run 20 PSI on the AGP Delta turbo, so he is smacking people silly that say he is all show and now go. Pushing the car is whats it’s all about in this scene and Matt’s car is right at the front of the pack if you ask me. Matt would like to show love to his crew in South Florida SCK, his family for all their support, and his boys Garrett, Dayron, James, Joey, John, Big D, Kris, McLovin, and all the people at Simply Clean. Automoto looks forward to more from this car and the boys down south!

Sergio Ramirez AKA Checo via forums seems like a chill dude. Granted, I spoke to him for all of about 5 minutes at State of Stance but anyone who will loan out CCW’s to a friend is a good guy to me! So Sergio owns this Brilliant Red Audi A4 and he is all about pushing the car to the limit. From ride height to wheel fitment this car is breaking down some walls and construction some bars for other Audi owners to reach. Seeking to see how much he could do to the rear of the car as far as wheels go without fabrication Sergio got some assistance from the crew at Wolfcar Motorsports. Do not be fooled by this car, low and slow is not the name of the game when it comes to Checo; this Audi has also been equipped with a stage one ECU flash from Revo. Automo.to has been given the heads up to watch out for new things coming from the Audi including a new wheel set up before the year is out!
- Owner: Sergio Ramirez
- Car: 2006 Audi A4
- Mods: Stasis Super Street coilovers (perches removed in the rear, close to dumped in the front), CCW Classis (full polished finish) 18×8.5 front offset 19, 18×10 rear offset 20, Revo stage 1 ECU flash.
